Atomic Imaging of Nanoparticle Catalysts during Operation

Abstract
This project will probe the atomic structure of model catalysts, specifically, size-selected clusters, with the aberration-corrected electron microscope with particular emphasis on the response of the morphology to gas exposure under reaction conditions in operando. The project is a collaboration with Johnson Matthey and wil exploit their TEM located at Diamond, Harwell.
