Decolonising the International Citizenship Law: A case study on Citizenship Law and the foreigner in German legal history

Lead Research Organisation: University of Oxford
Department Name: Law Faculty

Abstract

I am interested in researching power relations of international law and how these translate into domestic law. These power relations, informed by imperial and patriarchal interests, are primarily represented in State-Sovereignty and Self-Determination. I intend to use feminist legal methodology and critical race theory to critique Citizenship Law.
