Abstract

The project will investigate how platform affordances and political media
practices combine to make different elements of this multiscalar
controversy more or less publicly visible.
The project will focus on three key actors: 1) BP, the fossil fuel company
building H2Teesside; 2) Green New Deal Rising activists who oppose CDR
on the grounds that it detracts from decarbonisation efforts; 3) the BBC
which will play a key role in mediating and influencing the debate, following
