Abstract

This doctoral research, at its core is situated at the intersection between inclusive education and specific learning disabilities (dyslexia) in the urban Indian context. This qualitative ethnographic study utilizing participatory visual research tools consists of three aims. One, to understand how inclusive education is conceptualized more broadly by educators and elicit stakeholder views on how dyslexia is understood. Second, to explore services for students with dyslexia in relation to educational practices. The third aim is to understandthe inclusive education schooling experiences of students with dyslexia.
