Abstract

Manufacturing processes record a large amount of data [1] but a large proportion of this data isn't used by companies [2]. Even in companies which have explored data-driven approaches to their business, few manage to take this approach beyond the production process of a single product [3]. Without a suitable implementation of this data, this collected historical data is useless in making accurate predictions for the company [4], wasting storage, money, and time for companies, highlighting the need for a better application of data in manufacturing facilities.
