Activation of environmental carcinogens in human tissue organoid cultures
Lead Research Organisation:

Department Name: Analytical & Environmental Sciences
Abstract
Hypothesis 1: Human tissue organoid cultures are good model systems to study the metabolic activation of environmental carcinogens and their genotoxicity
Hypothesis 2: Events that follow DNA damage are also key to identifying organ specificity of environmental carcinogens. Organoid cultures allow us to investigate carcinogen organotropism.
