Metal Halide Perovskites for Photo and X-Ray Detection.
Lead Research Organisation:
University of Cambridge
Department Name: Physics
Abstract
The aim of this project is to utilise the excellent light harvesting properties of metal halide perovskite materials in the sensitive detection of the visible, NIR and X-ray regions of the EM spectrum. The development and analysis of novel device structures will be employed, to optimise to the differing challenges faced when sensing different energies of light.
It will utilise wet chemistry processing, device fabrication and photophysical characterisation to understand and improve detecting
ability. The commercial requirements of the sensors will be considered throughout to maximise the impact of the work.
