Data Acquisition, Triggering, and Physics prospects for the DUNE experiment

This project is about development and optimisation of the data acquisition system and trigger for the DUNE experiment, informed by the analysis of protoDUNE data and detailed simulation studies. A focus of the physics and trigger work will be the optimisation of DUNE's sensitivity to supernova physics, as well as the development of early, pre-beam physics analyses. DUNE accumulates vast amounts of data, and modern "big data" analysis methods will be employed to process and analyses these data
