Diophantine equations over totally real fields

Abstract
Recent work of Freitas, Kraus and Siksek establishes very substantial generalisations of the supervisor's old work on Fermat's Last Theorem over real quadratic fields to much more general totally real fields. This project continues this study, intending to consider the Fermat equation fairly systematically over real biquadratic fields (totally real quartic fields got by adjoining two square roots to the rationals).
