Development and Application of Probabilistic Quantification within Pharmaceutical Manufacturing

Lead Research Organisation: Imperial College London
Department Name: Computing

Abstract

Pharmaceutical manufacturing requires a large amount of monitoring data to make sure that the industrial process is working as expected. Sources of uncertainty, for example uncertainty arising from the accuracy and precision of the monitoring model or unexpected changes at the plant, make it difficult to have optimal decision-making on the industrial manufacturing system. This PhD develops and applies uncertainty quantification techniques that are relevant to pharmaceutical manufacturing.
